The Whole Life Festival!

Well, we were all thrilled with our first Whole Life Festival held May 21-23.  Being the first time, I was nervous beforehand, not really sure how it would turn out.  But as usual, all my fears were unfounded as it was a rewarding weekend for all.

We started with the Opening Ceremony in Lee Park.  About 50 of us sat in a big circle right in the center of town, meditating, drumming and singing!  We also did some praying and sending light to the Gulf disaster.  Then we heard the beautiful and moving singing of Maia Oden and two of her friends.  I love her voice!  We also had the creative Lester Seal and his exuberant drumming and singing.  It was really a fun and relaxing evening.

We had about 30 classes offered over the whole weekend and many people benefited from the teachings and experiences.  It was just so great to connect to new people and old friends in an accepting and inspiring environment.

I am looking forward to my summer of celebrating my 50th birthday with a trip to LA with girlfriends and then on to Telluride, CO, which is where I learned from my teachers, Christopher Beaver and Black Bear.  Back to the source of the beautiful mountains of Telluride!  I will be gone from June 24th til July 7th and am still planning out the rest of the schedule for the school for the summer and the rest of the year.  I most likely won't be offering any weekly classes this summer but will be available for individual healings and channeled sessions.  Feel free to contact me if you are interested!
